This is another video from that same channel that answered any questions I had about strength vs validity.  The whole part where he compared the two at around 3:50 was perfect.  I feel as if I'm pretty good at not confusing the two, but this surely taught me a clear way to not confuse validity and strength.

  1. Thanks for the link. This really explains it well. Wish I had this before the midterm. I think the key thing is that this provides a simple way to see the variation in a statement, so you can determine its strength. These video series should be a big help for the final.

  2. This video was helpful to some extent. I like how it explained how to differentiate between the different arguments, but it was extremely simplistic. Since we are all logic students, I think a more sophisticated video may better aid us in our work. Thank you for giving us something to start with though!
